Cessna 210 Emergency Landing at Cairns

During the early afternoon of Tuesday 11th November, Wrightsair Cessna 210 VH-JGA conducted an emergency landing at Cairns. Thankfully, no-one was seriously hurt.

According to The Cairns Post it was "returning from a sightseeing tour with four passengers when the single engine Cessna’s main landing gear failed."

It is believed that the aircraft conducted the emergency landing on the grass parallel to the main runway.

The aircraft was towed to the Yates Aero Engineering' hanger
