Nauru Air 737-300 Makes Another Early Morning Visit

Once again, Nauru Air 737-300 VH-NLK made another ealy visit this morning from Darwin (YPDN) as ASY989. It then departing an hour later to Nauru (ANYN) using the same Flight Number.

Some Recent News

  • On Monday morning Qantas A330-300 VH-QPA made a quick visit as QF98 from Hong Kong (VHHH), and then departed to Brisbane (YBBN) using the same Flight Number about an hour later. QF98 is a daily service from Hong Kong (VHHH) to Brisbane (YBBN).

  • Also on Monday, two MV-22B Ospreys popped by - EP-01 and EP-09 again - from either Rockhampton (YBRK) or Tindal (YPTN)  and departed the next day to Tindal (YPTN). Here's a couple of photos:

Qantas Freight 737-300F VH-XML Visits in New Qantas Freight Colours

Qantas Freight 737-300F VH-XML arrived from Townsville (YBTL) as QF7314 on Friday. This was the first time the 737-300F has visited since Cairns being repainted into the new Qantas Freight livery in Christchurch about a week ago.

The next day, it departed bound for Port Moresby (AYPY) via Brisbane (YBBN) as QF7315.

United States Marine Corps Bell MV-22B Ospreys Visit Cairns!

In the afternoon of Friday 23rd August, USMC Bell MV-22B EP-08 arrived in Cairns from Rockhampton (YBRK) as DRAGN01. The day later, it departed for unknown.









Also, another Osprey - this time EP-09 - landed at Cairns and later departed to Rockhampton (YBRK) as DRAGN02.

USAF C-17 Visits

Yesterday, United States Air Force C-17 05-5151 arrived from Andersen Air Force Base (PGUA) as USM102 and later departed back to Andersen AFB (PGUA) with the same flight number.
